METRO CMRL KEC HCC SITE PROGRESS REPORT
Project Summary
We are excited to present a transformative infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing Chennai’s urban mobility and connectivity. This project entails the construction of an impressive 11.61-kilometer elevated viaduct section, along with the establishment of eleven strategically positioned elevated stations on Corridor 5 of Phase II Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL).
Project Scope
The focal point of this undertaking is the creation of an elevated viaduct spanning an impressive 11.61 kilometers, meticulously designed to seamlessly integrate with the urban landscape. This elevated viaduct will serve as a vital artery for efficient and swift transportation across Corridor 5, easing the daily commute for thousands of residents and commuters.
Additionally, the project encompasses the development of eleven elevated stations, each carefully located to serve key areas along Corridor 5. These stations include:
- Madipakkam
- Kilkattalai
- Echangadu
- Kovilambakkam
- Vellakkal
- Medavakkam Koot Road
- Kamaraj Garden Street
- Medavakkam Junction
- Perumbakkam
- Global Hospital
- Elcot
HSE Compliance
➢ Lifting tools & tackles including RIG Inspection completed (14 Nos) on place.
➢First Aid Box inspection going on regularly.
➢Daily Toolbox Meeting conducted at site.
➢Daily Checking of ELCB & other regular routine inspection on going .
➢Daily Safety Observation Report & CA / CO Status.
➢Inspection of DG (02Nos) & MDB panel (02 Nos), Welding Mechine (03) & Power Tools done .
➢Safety induction done all employee & workers .
➢Fire Point provided at site
➢ Drinking water station & workers Rest area on place.
➢Assembly point to be place at work site.
➢ Safety Bulletin and awareness posters to be displayed at site.
➢ESI & EPF statutory compliance in process going on.
